     Garden of Friendship...

If I could plant a garden of us
it would be one of truth;
it wouldn't bear flowers
of wealth or fame
but its blossoms would sparkle
with eternal youth.
Love and loyalty
I'd freely sow,
and not a single weed
could sprout or grow.
And come the storm,
the garden would offer
an inner calm,
which in times of woe
would be our balm.
The vibrant purple
and dreamy pink blossoms
would never pale
while we're apart,
for the warmth of
our friendship
would keep the garden
alive in our hearts.

Wishing you and yours a joyous
celebration of spring!
