Dear Grandmother,
You gave me your wisdom,
taught me how to live right.
You're my angel in the darkness,
keeping the way ahead bright.
You've suffered, I know,
but have triumphed over
so many things,
showing me the blessings
that strength and faith brings.
You taught me to be gentle,
to live day by day,
to be patient and forgiving,
to hope and to pray.
You sheltered me
all through the years,

in your voice and in your eyes,
