When I was growing up,
I used to think
that you were the
smartest man alive.
You always had an
answer for every
when, how, and why.
And, more than anything,
I wanted to be just like you,
strong, brave, and tall,
because to me that meant,
having it all.
And now that I'm grown
and out in the world
on my own,
I want you to know
that what I thought back then
is still true.
More than ever,
I hope that I can
be a great person like you.
