He was born on a starry night
and an angel hailed the glory
of his birth, saying,
"A blessing has been
sent from heaven
for to man
God's son is given.."

He was crucified,
his broken body
laid to rest in a tomb,
but he arose,
and an angel hailed the glory
of his resurrection, saying,
"Don't be afraid;"
for I know that you seek Jesus
who was crucified.
He is not here;
for he has risen..."

This Easter, remember the
miracle of his birth
and of his resurrection.
Remember how he suffered
so that you could have
everlasting life,
and say a special prayer of thanks--
not only for the great sacrifice
he made for you,
but for all the blessings
he gives you every day.
