 Autumn's Arrival...

The fall winds
are here again;
they whisper through the leaves
to set the world ablaze
with vibrant orange and gold.
There's a slightest hint in the air
of the coming winter's cold
and at the risk of being bold,
I want to know
if you'll share the autumn with me?
I don't mean to set off an alarm,
but wrapped in the bliss
of your company,
the warmth of your arms,
I'll weather hail and foul winds happily.

"Autumn's Arrival," written and designed by Bobette Bryan, 2000
